what the spring?? recently it’s gotten into me to try and make myself a new phone case. a new phone case with press-dried flowers. with… handmade. press-dried flowers. cue an hour of me sitting down at my desk trying to straighten those (frustratingly) aesthetically curved petals, trying to figure out how those youtubers managed to make their flowers not look like an attacking praying mantis. a process of opening the book, tucking the flowers between the pages, closing it, oh damn there‘s a crease, closing it again, crap the base of the flower isn’t cooperating, closing it for the third time, hold on I’m just paranoid this time, closing it again… repeated at least 20 times over. fortunately I managed to get it done for all the flowers I gathered though, and now it’s time for the waiting game. except this time the issue is with me. I’ve been obsessively opening the books/papers the flowers are being held between to check on them nonstop… and needless to say my paranoia has
